- For a discussion of the various Israel Kenney's, see here. Some early children, who died young, seem nearly impossible to place with confidence, as discussed there also.
- Jeff Green's discussion of Israel Kenney (cited here), identifies Hannah as the daughter of Stephen and Hannah, b. 1741. There are three Hannah's born in Middleton of an appropriate age (d/o Stephen b. 1741, d/o Benjamin bp. 1745, d/o Israel b. 1745), and he did not provide any details other than noting her father died when she was young and they were neighbors). On the other hand, she is named as the daughter of Israel Wilkins by Robertson's Genealogy of Henry and Anne Kinne, likewise with no basis provided. Source:Hill, William Carroll. Family of Bray Wilkins, Patriarch of Will's Hill, of Salem, Middleton, Mass doesn't seem to cover the Benjamin and Lydia family, and for the other two, merely lists their daughters Hannah without providing any disposition for them.
