He was born near Chambersburgh, Pennsylvania 16 Jan 1792; she in Westmoreland county January 16, 1792, daughter of Ezekiel and Elizabeth (McBride) Sample, of Northern Ireland.     She was the mother of all Isaac Cochran’s children, although he married a second wife, Sarah Nichol, who died in 1875.
