History of New Ipswich, New Hampshire, 1735-1914, p. 262, give the date of marriage as Apr 1736, but show the first child not born until early 1739. Conclusion: Chandler copied from Bond, and Bond misread the record.

Bond also gives, and Chandler also copied, a birth of Sarah, dated 6 Oct 1751. Bond shows no further information, such as marriage or death, for Sarah, and her alleged birth is less than a year before Aaron's birth. There is no such birth record (or appropriate death record) found in Waltham VRs, and it is unclear why we should believe Bond at this point, unless further evidence of Sarah's existence can be brought forth.
