Ira Brundege of Lanesborough & Lydia Smith of Warwick intend Marriage June 8: 1795.

  3.   Allred, p. 41, provides no further information on "Ira Brandege" than is given in the marriage record (1810 and 1820 in New York are the only census records found with this name).

Allred identifies his wife as Lydia Smith, d/o Joseph & Esther Smith. But this appears to be a guess, as on p. 235, this Lydia is shown as the wife of Isaiah Stearns. Both men did marry a Lydia Smith of Warwick per their marriage records, but Isaiah Stearns' wife, by age at death, is off by about 3 years, so she may be misidentified. The family of Joseph and Esther appears recorded after the fact (in the 1800 book even though births start in 1770s) and where the birth occurred has yet to be determined. The father appears to have left no probate. More research is needed.
