    Ichabod Olmsted came from E. Haddam, Conn., and bought 200 acres of land, of a Mr. Proctor. He paid for it $3.00 per acre. He brought his provisions, a gun and axe, and cleared up the farm, now occupied by his son Ichabod, at Sunside, Green Co., N.Y.
