Marriag is intended between Humphrey Atherton Champney and Sally Fisher both of Warwick June 28th 1783.

  2. Source:Watterson, Virginia Hewitt. Descendants of the Elder Richard Champney of Cambridge, Massachusetts, p. 74, suggests "Sarah (Sally) Fisher" was born about 1765, "probably the dau. of Israel Fisher of Warwick and his wife Hannah Osgood". This is impossible. Israel Fisher was born in Norton in 1759 and did not marry Hannah Osgood until 1789. Israel's sister Sarah, d/o Abijah Fisher and Mary Washburn, b. Norton 20 Feb 1766 does not match the age at death well, which works out to a birth about 1756 (age at death reported by Find A Grave, albeit with the caveat that the gravestone is hard to read). Census records: 1800 shows her 26-44 so born after 1756, while 1810 says over 45, so born before 1765.
