Note: this source lists the marriage date for Hugh Lawson White and Elizabeth Carrick as 14 December 1789, but this date is problematic, for both Hugh White (at age 15) and Elizabeth Carrick (at abt. age 9) would have been too young to marry. IGI has a marriage date of 11 December 1798, which is most likely the correct date.
