1 Nov 1747 Evan Shelby Senr. of Prince Georges County , Province of Maryland, farmer, to Hugh Gileland of same. Witnesseth that the said Even Shelby for and in Consideration of the Sum of six pounds current money to him hand paid doth hereby grant, bargain & sell unto the said Hugh Gileland all that tract or parcel of Land called Bells fort scituate lying & being in Prince Georges County... laid out for 50 acres of land be the same more or less.
