There are two children born to Abraham Hicks and his wife Desire in Rochester (Martha, b. 14 Apr 1727, and Henry, b. 15 Mar 1728-9). This appears to be the "Abraham Hix and Desier Trobridge" who m. 10 Feb 1724-5 in Falmouth, MA, and had a son John born there 28 Oct 1725, before apparently moving to Rochester. There is little other information available about them, i.e., no sign of Hicks or Trowbridge families in Falmouth or Rochester, no death record for Abraham. But given Desire's age at death (she is 12 years older than Hincksman), it would not be surprising to find she was a widow.
