"Be it Remembered that on the eighteenth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty six, Hezekiah Hine and Diantha Chapman of the county of Portage were legally joined in marriage by competent authority, in conformity to the provisions of the statutes of the State of Ohio, in such cases made and provided; and a certificate of such marriage, signed by Jason Sanford a Justice of the Peace who solemnized the same has been filed in the office of the Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas, for said county of Portage, this tenth day of December Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and forty six."
