- ↑ The estimate marriage date of before 1708 is based on birth of son Hezekiah to "Hezekiah and Abigail Broad" on 21 Mar 1708 (see Source:Dedham, Norfolk, Massachusetts, United States. Early Records of the Town of Dedham, Massachusetts, Vol. 1, p. 35).
- Their son Hezekiah married as his first wife Abigail Ware, so there were two successive generations of Hezekiah and Abigail Broad. This apparently has caused some problems. For example, Source:Cutter, William Richard. Historic Homes and Places and Genealogical and Personal Memoirs Relating to the Families of Middlesex County, Massachusetts, p. 2:405, says Hezekiah d. Natick 18 May 1752. This death is actually the son, as shown by the age at death of 44, but Cutter may have been fooled by an accompanying death record for Abigail, w. Hezekiah, that is also found in Natick. From a document cited on the mother's page we know the father and mother were living in Needham as late as 1759.
