    The State of Ohio, Erie County, SS. } Richard G. Elliott having made application for a Marriage License for Henry Steel (senior) and Parthana Elliott of said County, and being duly sworn, on his oath says, that the said Henry Steel is over twenty-one years of age and that he has no wife living: Also, that the said Parthana Elliott is over eighteen years of age and that she has no husband living, and that the parties are not nearer of kin than first cousins, as he verily believes; and that he knows of no legal objection to said contemplated marriage.
