Henry Gaines & Jane Partridge [married] May 17 [1634]

Henry Gaines was in Lynn, Mass., in 1638. He died by 14 11m [Jan.] 1644[/5]. Henry 'Geynes''s three children are mentioned, not by name, in the will of John Partridge of Olney, dated 20 Jan. 1647[/8], along with the children of William Partridge, John's son, 'all wch said p[er]sons now or late were in New England' (NEHGR 63:283-84). The best account is Homer Worthington Brainerd, 'Henry Gaines of Lynn, Mass., and Some of His Descendants' (NEHGR 85:30-56), which does not identify Henry's wife Jane."
