Jaques, b. Aug. 20, 1732; d. between April 4, 1774 (date of his father's will) and March 10, 1777 (when his brother Albert's will was signed); m. Maria ____. Live at Six Mile Run. No children. Probably Jaques' widow is the person referred to as "Mary Terhune Cortelyou, widow of James," who m. in 1788, Hendrick van Arsdalen, of Bridgewater Twp., Somerset Co. (SCHQ, vol. 8, p. 103). Somerset Col Deeds, E-227, refers to her first husband as "Jacus Cortelyou of said county."
