Family:Gideon Gardner and Mary Garrison (1)

Mary the daughter of Jonas Garrison (with siblings: William, Jonathan, Abigail Garrison Letts, Meriam, James, Marvel, Anna Garrison Brooks, Amy Garrison Huff, Jonas, Elias, and probably Deborah and Caleb) married Gideon Gardner, this is definitely proved by her father's 1808 Will.

However, her brother James' 1834 Will includes probate listing Next of Kin which need to be figure out. Sister Abigail Letts and brothers in Upper Canada, as well as a probable niece via his brother Jonathan make sense but there is a Hall family that need to be matched up:

1. Rachel Hall is listed as the next of kin of James Garrison (brother of Mary) in his probate from 1844. She is listed after Abigail Letts (James's sister, apparently his last surviving sibling in the USA), and with a James Garrison who must be a nephew, and Elizabeth wife of Elisha Utter (m. 1811) who is probably Elizabeth, daughter of Jonathan Garrison (brother of James) baptized 1790.
2. Mary Hall is a widow with one daughter born 1805-1809 is listed a few lines down from James on the 1820 census.
3. On the 1810 census only one Hall in the vicinity has a daughter under 5 and that is James Hall (there are two James Hall's n the same page, he is the second: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33S7-9YY8-SSTC?i=5&cc=1803765). They also appear to have a son under five and two older women living in the household.

Additional factors: Morris North, an heir to James Garrison but not listed as next of kin, who seems to be related to James's wife, Mary Pilgrim, marries a Rachel Hall born 1806 and they moved to Michigan.
