There was at least one children who died young, but for whom no records appear to exist.:

"21 Oct., 1745. Visited * * * Mr. Gershom Brighams family who have all been sick of the * * * (Distemper) and has buryed one Child whilst I was absent. Mrs. Brigham and yr remaining Child now sick. 23d. My wife and I were at the Funeral of Mr. Gershom Brigham's other child."[2]

(The above is taken from the Diary of Ebenezer Parkman (in a time period not covered in the edition by Harriette M. Forbes that is easily found online, but possibly to be found in the edition by Francis G. Walett, not found online?) Presumably the two children are Hephzibah and one other unknown child, but given the span of years possibly allowing three births and the predilection for twins, there could be more unknown children.)
