↑ Listed as married in a 1933 Grand Rapids directory, but listed separately in a 1932 Grand Rapids directory. First cousin marriage was at the time, and still is not allowed in Michigan. Some Ancestry trees suggest a marriage in Kentucky, but first cousin marriage is not allowed there either (at least as of 2019).
