- ↑ In her father's will dated 12 Dec 1810, Sally is named "Sarah Mcfading". Note that in her uncle, William Newton's, estate papers, "on two occasions her husband is given as George McFadden and on four occasions his name is given as Edward McFadden" (per Source:Kennedy, Mabel Stockwell. Stockwell Genealogy, p. 224). The 1850 census makes it clear that her husband was George. See also, Source:Hurd, D. Hamilton.
