↑ The births of his children do not appear to be recorded, so it is unclear who is the oldest. Susannah is the second child named in his will, according to Source:Morris, John E. Stephen Lincoln of Oakham, Massachusetts : His Ancestry and Descendants, p. 16. The death of the son George Burt Jr. in 1794, "in 47th y." [Taunton VR, p. 3:41], so age 46 and born about 1748, probably represents the oldest child. Similarly, George Sr. d. 1804, "in 78th y." [ibid], so age 77 and born about 1727, suggests the marriage couldn't be much earlier.
