  3.   I've tried to keep the name of the village according to what happened to the village. Before the Trianon Treaty, the village was known as Szemlak, county of Arad, in Hungary. After the signing of the treaty in 1920, the village was given to Romania and henceforth known as Semlac, Arad, Romania.
