MADRID MAN DIES OF BULLET WOUND
MADRID---Clair Plog, 42, was found dead of a bullet wound, at 2 a.m., Tuesday at the home of his brother, Gordon Plog, Madrid.
According to a statement from Franklin County Sheriff Earl Hawkins, Farmington, who was called to the scene, Plog committed suicide by shooting himself. County Attorney Joseph Holman also investigated.
Plog, who only Monday was served with divorce papers, had been estranged from his wife, the former Maxine Hinckley of Phillips.
Since his recent return from his employment in Connecticut, he had been making his home with his brother.

  2. The marriage had to have taken place after 1950 because Maxine had married Ronald Haley in 1950.
