Francois Xavier BOURG, son of deceased Charles & deceased Cecile MELANSON, married on 27 Sep 1763 at Pleurtuit to Elizabeth LE BLANC, daughter of deceased Pierre & deceased Anne THERIOT; both natives of Acadie, and residents Pleurtuit. Dispensation granted of third to fourth degree on the one hand [sic, they had only two 4th to 4th relationships], and of fourth to fourth degree on the other hand, dated 7 Sep 1763. Witnesses: Pierre LANDRY; Charles HENRY; Jean LE BLANC; Simon LE BLANC; "contracting parties have declared not knowing how to sign as well as Firmin BINCUR [sic, I read VINCENT]. Rest signed, as well as And. LOSSIEUX, Rector."
They were 2nd cousins once removed [on two sides]; also 3rd cousins.
