Nobody knows for sure if Carrie had any children. She was once pregnant but had a miscarriage from riding horseback. Swedish relatives have a photograph of Carrie with the following written on reverse: "This was taken by my daughter, Jane, in front of her home in Minneapolis".

Carrie & Gustaf were always in pictures together. Hulda took many of them in Montana. Carrie & Ford had a resort in Michigan. They also lived in Royal Oak, Oakland co, Michigan, and Spokane, Washington as well as Montana. She was a school teacher.

Carrie died a wealthy woman.
