The records for the last three children, who all died young, are very imperfect.

Source:Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts, United States. Inscriptions and Records of the Old Cemeteries of Boston, p. 489, for the Granary Burial Ground, lists the following (among others) in Tomb 174

Clark, Caroline, fam. Fessenden, brought from Quincy, Aug. 25, 1824, ae. 6 m. [birth about Feb 1824]
Clark, Clarissa N., fam. Fessenden, brought from Quincy, Aug. 25, 1824, ae. 6 m. [birth about Feb 1824]
Clark, Francis Lowell, fam. Fessenden, Sept. 12, 1825, ae. 1 y. 10 m. [birth about Nov 1823]

As all three died young, no records would exist outside a small window of time (which window seems poorly documented). No birth or baptism records have been located. Obviously these births could not happen as nominally implied. Secondary sources play games to make this work.

The Find A Grave memorials for Caroline, Clarissa, and Francis, make them all triplets, born 12 Nov 1823. The basis for this birthdate is unknown. To be triplets would require adjusting the age at death of Clarissa and Caroline to 9 mo.

Source:Nye, George Hyatt. Genealogy of the Nye Family, Vol. 2, p. 110, lists Charlotte [sic - !!] and "Carolan" born 25 Aug 1824, "died same day" (not matching age of 6 months reported above). Francis is listed as a Frances, born 25 Aug 1824, so a triplet, and requiring an adjustment to his age at death from 1 y. 10 m. to 1 y. 1 m.

Source:Clarke, Samuel C. Records of Some of the Descendants of Thomas Clarke, Plymouth, 1623-1697, p. 25 shows Clarissa and Charlotte [sic - probably a typo for Caroline since the other Charlotte is listed above] as twins b. 1823, "d. young"; and Francis b. 1825 (presumably assuming the given death date above was his birthdate?) It also gives every child a middle name (or surname?) of Nye which appears incorrect.

The answer is not known. The children have been entered according to the burial records listed above, as these are the only primary records located so far. Further evidence could suggest a different arrangement.
