    [Note: p. 244, Reverse record says "PHELPS, Polly [Patty? in int.] and Ephraim Carter Jr., Sept. 28, 1794." Investigation of birth record show all 7 children baptized with no mother specified, but they named a daughter Martha, none Mary, and investigation of Phelps births shows an appropriately-aged Patty, no Mary or Polly. So intention appears to contain the correct name.]
