    8. Elias Doughty (son of Elias Doughty and Sarah ___), was born in Flushing, Queens County, New York, about 1664, and married in Flushing, Queens Co., N.Y., Elizabeth Hinchman. They lived at Flushing, New York, where he died December 1, 1743-5. The names of their children rest on tradition. Children:

    - Elizabeth, m. Peter Talman. They had several children.
    - Thomas.
    - Joseph.
    - Charity, m. William Cornwall. Had several children.
