↑ The 1810 census appears to show 5 children in 1810 under 16. But the first known birth of a child is 1807 and given that the first known male child Eleazer Jr is born 1808 this would appear to be the first child. Upon inspection the 1810 census shows the exact same counts for Eleazer and his brother Oshea one line up, so given the birth records of his children, it seems likely this is an error by the census taker? A birth in 1807 when the father is 39 and the mother is 33 is a little late to be starting a family but no evidence of earlier children has been found.
