Eleazer Dowse & Mary Edmonds, both of Charlestowne, m. by Mr. Charles Morton of Charlestowne, Cler., Sept. 21, 1693.
Note: Wyman, p. 1:307, lists two sons named Jonathan, the second "b. Feb. 21, 1704-5". Neither he nor Charlestown records give death date for first, and the records don't seem to have birth of second? This appears to have been copied by the Dowse Genealogy, p. 130. His first wife is born in 1700, which perhaps suggest there was only one Jonathan?? Language in the father's 1725 will about Jonathan being gone, and still unsettled, married or unmarried, seems a little in-congruent for a 20 year-old son, more in line with an older one??
