Lucille's obituary reads, "LUCILLE A. MESSMAN, 70, Woodburn, died yesterday at home. Surviving the lifelong Allen County resident are her husband, Edwin; daughters, Jeanne Messman and Janet Koch, both of Woodburn, and Janelle Messman, Jackie Lichty, Judy Hunt, Joan Murlin and Joyce Copsey, all of Antwerp, Ohio; sons, Gary of Woodburn, Wayne of New Haven, Larry of Fort Wayne and Donald of Payne, Ohio; sisters, Esther Castleman of Monroeville and Mary Sorg of Yoder; a brother, Leslie Frane of Convoy, Ohio; 25 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services are 2 p.m. Thursday in Hockemeyer Funeral Home, Harlan, where calling is 2 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in Harlan Memorial Cemetery.
