Edward and Mary's marriage record has yet to be found. However, Mary's sister Elizabeth's will refers to her "late sister Mary Samm" and refers to Mary's daughter Elizabeth. These appear to tally with the baptism of Elizabeth daughter of Edward and Mary Samm, grocer, in 1722, and the burial of Mary wife of Edward Samm, grocer, in 1757. It is therefore presumed that Mary Jeeves married a grocer named Edward Samm.
