  2.   NEHGR, p. 153.82, "English Origin of the Parker Brothers of Massachusetts", by Douglas Richardson, spends some time reviewing the article cited in #S1. It says Edward Converse married at Great Burstead, Essex, on 29 Jun 1614 to Sarah Parker. Baptisms of three children recorded at South Weald, Essex, England between 1618 and 1623. The South Weald parish registers also record the burials of Sara, daughter of Edward Converse, in 1623, and Sara, wife of Edward Converse, in 1625. This suggests that the marriage on this page is a comglomeration of two consecutive wives named Sarah, since it includes children before and after the 1625 death of Sarah (Parker) Converse.
