    Noting entry in Boyd Marriage Index in 1611 for "Moor Sar and Edm Greenleaf Langford". Will of Samuel More of Parish of Much Totham, co. Essex, dated 24 Dec 1615, proved 2 Feb 1615/16, names "my sister Sara the wife of Edmund Ginleaf of Ipswich in the county of Suffolk ... her two children John and Enoch".

  3.   The NEHGR article cited above was refuting older claims that Edmund Greenleaf's wife was Sarah Dole. Unfortunately, despite what appears to be clear evidence, the old claim has resurfaced in the very new Source:New England Historic Genealogical Society. Early Families of New England in its entry for William Hilton.
