  2.   The only Martha Catlin with a birth record in the published Connecticut vital records was born in 1759, daughter of Amos and Martha (Davis) Catlin of Harwinton. It is possible that Ebenezer Preston married a widow Catlin, which could well have been the Martha Davis who had married first Amos Catlin. There are no online records available at this time to confirm this possibility.
