"Mr. Ebenezer Munroe of Lexington & Miss Lucy Simonds [of Woburn?] May 13. 1781." [Note: the uniformity of writing shows this to be a film of a copy of the records, not the original. This same entry may be found in the published records Source:Woburn, Middlesex, Massachusetts, United States. Woburn Records of Births, Deaths, and Marriages, vol. 10 (Intentions), p. 123.]
- ↑ Source:Stearns, Ezra S. History of Ashburnham Massachusetts from the Grant of Dorchester Canada to the Present Time, 1734-1886 with a Genealogical Register, p. 835, says Ebenezer m. 10 Apr 1781, Lucy (Muzzey) Simonds of Woburn. Source:Hudson, Charles. History of the Town of Lexington, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, from Its First Settlement to 1868, p. 459, says Ebenezer m. "10 Apr. 1780?" Mrs. Lucy Simonds of Woburn. Even if they agreed on the date, it would appear neither is based on a record of any kind, or possible, given the intention registered in Woburn. Further, the basis for any previous marriage is unknown, and so far, undiscovered, and therefore, questionable at best.
