Genealogy of the Descendants of Richard Haven, of Lynn, Massachusetts, Who Emigrated from England About Two Hundred Years Ago, p. 18, says "he had married Mrs. Dixon of Boston about 1777". It is not clear what the basis of these statements are and no record of this marriage has been located yet, including no marriage record, no death record for this wife, no deed mentioning a person other than the known wives, no birth of any children. Source:Dunkle, Robert J. Records of the Churches of Boston and the First Church, Second Parish, and Third Parish of Roxbury, in the records for the "First Baptist Church" show an Ebenezer Marshall and Hannah Marshall being admitted 6 Jul 1777, but that most likely is the Ebenezer Marshall of Boston mariner, on whose estate administration was granted 1783 to David Plummer, his sister's husband, son of Francis and Abigail Marshall of Boston, still a minor in 1769 (see Suffolk Probate 68:223, 68:368, 82:62). But the presence of a different Ebenezer Marshall in Boston, of course, raises doubts about such a vague assertion.
