    "David (Punderson) … m 23 Feb 1774 (Waterbury Vital Records) Dinah [da. Peter & Abigail (Porter)] Welton, [b 1 June 1759 (Waterbury Vital Records)]; she m (2) 20 May 1794 (church record, New Milford) David Mallory."

    Jacobus apparently considered the identification of the wife of David Punderson and David Mallory probable. However, the chronology indicates that she would not have reached her fifteenth birthday prior to her first marriage which does add some doubt to the identification.
