As mentioned on Family talk:John Moore and Mary Bruce (1), David has been speculated to be one of the several unidentified children of this family. Even after marriage the records are spotty enough to be unclear. There is a David Moore (b. 1785-1786) who lived in Orange in 1850 (line 10 and 1855 left side, line 24); in Warwick in 1860 (line 29); in Michigan in 1870 (line 23) where he died in 1876 (record 784). He is never married and his parents are listed as David and Mary of which nothing has been found, but as he does not appear to be living with family members and died far from the place of birth, could the correct answer be John and Mary, having separated from his wife? Or is it a different David Moore? A David Moore is of Northfield, when his land is lost through an execution against him.

Lucy (Miller) Moore is found in the 1850 census in Chicopee (line 32 living with her son's family and umarried daughter. She is born 1787. No further record has been located. There is an interesting gravestone in Connecticut in 1856 for a Lucy Moore, w/o David, who d. 1856 about the right age, but no obvious reason to think it is her.
