Family:David Cummins and Christine Van Norman (1)

We know little about Christine except that she was named a wife of David Cummins in documents filed in 1815 at Sussex County Court house in Newton New Jersey. Those documents related to the settlement of the estate of David's father, Jacob Cummins, who had died in Sussex County in 1811. In 1815 David and his wife, Christine, moved to Huron Township in Huron County near Sandusky Ohio.

A Van Norman genealogy written by Mel. F. McBeth in the 1970s suggested that David Cummins had married Christine Van Norman.
