  2. An article in Source:Publications of the Ipswich Historical Society (Ipswich, Essex, Massachusetts, United States), Vol. 18, p. 20, "Jeffrey's Neck" by T. Frank Waters, misses several children, especially those that died young, but also adds a son Daniel to the second marriage in error. The baptism of the Daniel in 1730 is to parents Daniel and Elizabeth, while this father was married to Deborah at the time. Further the baptism is marked CR4, the Chebacco parish. Daniel Smith and Elizabeth Foster published their intentions in Chebacco parish in 1720 and are a different family.
