Footnote: 'A record found since the publication of Volume I ... proves that Daniel Meeker m. (2) Elizabeth Smith, dau. of Samuel. The wife of Daniel Meeker was (an unnamed) dau. of Richard Ogden in 1687. Daniel's wife Elizabeth was bapt. July 1695, with the first five children. The second wife, Elizabeth Smith, was certainly mother of the last six children, beginning with Benjamin in 1698.'
