- ↑ It is tempting to suspect this is a second marriage for Daniel Garfield of Shrewsbury because those participants have some connection to Warwick where this couple lived, but it is probably not since the 1790 census shows only one child, such an identification would not explain the absence not only of his first wife, but the two previous children. Allred, p. 111, has nothing on this family, parents or children, beyond the 3 birthdates found in the town records.
