Spouse(s) of Daniel

Operating theory: Daniel who marries Elizabeth Coulliard is the same Daniel that marries Betsy Spaulding. Based on Phippsburg vital records, there is no overlap in the childbearing of these two families, and this would explain why there are only three Daniel Blaisdells in the 1800-1820 Census in Georgetown/Phippsburg, Maine. (1 is the Rev. War vet, one is Daniel + Anna, and the third is Daniel + Elizabeth, then + Betsy Spaulding). But this is proven by process of elimination; there doesn't appear to be any direct evidence clarifying either 1) when Elizabeth Coulliard died or 2) that Daniel was a widower when he married Betsy Spaulding.

It also would help explain how Levi Hutchins, son of Mary Blaisdell and Samuel Hutchins (Mary daughter of Daniel + Eliz) is a "cousin" to his wife Mary Jane Blaisdell, daughter of Daniel & Betsy Spaulding.
