459. Daniel Banker was a farmer of Putnam County, N.Y., and lived in the town of Carmel. It seems probable that he was married, July 3, 1795, to Mary Burgdough by the Rev. Silas Constant at Yorktown. I cannot identify him, but think he belongs in the Jacob Bancker family of Chapter XIX. He died intestate Aug. 10, 1833, and left a widow, Mary, and ten children as follows: Elizabeth, Harriet, Phoebe, Parmelia, Alson, Jacob, Elias, Mary and Louisa. Elizabeth married Charles Agor. Harriet married Job Wright, who died before 1833. Phoebe was unmarried in 1846. Parmelia, unmarried, joined the Presbyterian Church at Hanover in January, 1825. Alson married Emeline -----. Jacob owned a farm adjoining his father's. He married Ann Maria ----, and was living as late as 1850. Elias married Anna Maria -----, and was living as late as 1850. Elias purchased the interest of the other heirs in his father's farm, married Margaret Ann ----; and was living as late as 1861. Silas married Cornelia ------ and was a farmer of Carmel. He had at least four children: Daniel, Stephen, Sarah and Mary. Sarah married a Purcell and Mary married a Wright. Silas died between Aug. 1, 1871 and Apr. 27, 1875, and his wife died between May 27 and June 15, 1871. Louisa married Seth Barret.
