Oswego Palladium-Times, 22 Apr 1936: OLIN--RILEY Watertown, April 22-- The marriage of Miss Hazel Irene Riley of Lacona and Clinton Earl Olin, Richland RD 2, took place late Monday morning at the parsonage of the Methodist Episcopal Church at Brownville. Rev. Herbert Harrison, pastor of the church, officiated. The wedding is believed to be the first one solemnized in the new conference year of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Mr. Harrison, who was attending the conference meeting at the First Methodist Episcopal Church, was reached by telephone at conference headquarters by the couple and left for the parsonage of his church where he performed the ceremony. Mr. Olin and his bride will make their home at Sandy Creek. Mrs. Olin was born at Boylston, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Riley. Mr. Olin was born at Orwell, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Olin. The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Littlefield of this city. Mr. Olin is a farmer.
