12 Dec 1718 Seth Hyatt and Alice his wife, formerly the daughter of Clem't and Alice Davis, the said Seth being of Prince Georges County of the one part amd Amos Garrett of Ann Arundell County in the province of Maryland, Merchant of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Seth Hyat fore and in consideration of the sum of twenty five pounds curant money in hand paid Hath bargained and sold all and every the hereafter mentioned fourth part of a Tract of Land which a certain Jarvis Morgan late of Ann Arundel County deceased called Middle Neck lying on the east side of Chesipeak Bay and on a River in the said Bay called Sassafrass River and on the north side of the river being 150 acres more or less, the whole tract being laid out for 600 acres buy Patten thereof to a certain Jarvis Morgan remaining on record and the said Morgan by his last will and and Testament bearing date 10 Jan 1698 did amongst and after other bequests give and bequeath unto the said Alice Davis, daughter of Clement and Alice Davis (his brother and sister) now wife to the said Seth Hyat the above said one hundred and fifty acres of Land to her and her assigns lying in Cecil County with all appurtenances.
