Oswego Daily Times, 2 Sep 1921: POTTS--BISBO The home of Mr. and Mrs. Davill [!] Potts in Amboy was the scene of a very beautiful midsummer wedding on Saturday, August 27 at high noon when their youngest daughter, Miss Rachel Mae Potts became the bride of Claud Bisbo, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roswell Bisbo of West Monroe. Rev. Walter Clement, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church of Taberg, performed the ceremony using the double ring service. Miss Ruth S.F. Potts, sister of the groom [!] acted as bridesmaid. The bridegroom had his brother, Herbert Bisbo, as his best man, and Frank E. Potts, brother of the bride, as groomsman. Elizabeth and Verna Williams acted as ribbon bearers, Ruth Bisbo as flower girl, and little Miss Frances Webb as ring bearer. The rooms were beautifully decorated with huge bouquets of pink and white hydrangeas... Precisely at twelve o'clock Mrs. Agnes Stanton Winterhalder of Greenfield MA started playing the wedding march from Lohengrin... After the ceremony a luncheon-dinner was served... The bride presented gold bar pins to her attendants... The bride's going away costume was a chic tailored suit... Mr. and Mrs. Bisbo left in his Studebaker car for a week's trip to Niagara Falls and the Adirondacks. They will make their home near West Monroe. The bride is a graduate of Camden high school and has had special work in Oneonta Normal school. She has been a successful teacher for the past three years. The groom is a successful dealer in produce...
