This list contains four sons and two daughters but George Seton, the claimant of the title, was supposed to be descended from the fourth son Charles born in 1755. His mother was Margaret M’Allester and there is a death record that fits her, with Husband Charles. It seems that the spelling of the name had now become Seaton, perhaps on of the earlier brothers was not counted as he was an infant death?
