"[Charles Davenport] removed to Worcester, Massachusetts, where his daughter Abigail was born 29 Oct. 1734 and died 20 Jan. 1734/5 and his first wife Jemima died 17 Feb. 1734/5. He had Thomas, b. 19 Apr. 1736, Samuel, b. 4 Jul. 1738, d. 12 Jan. 1742/3, Paul, b. 29 Aug. 1740, John, b. 1 Sept. 1742 and Elijah, b. 7 Feb. 1744/5 with a wife Joannah. He had many Davenport descendants living in Colerain, Mass., and Mt. Holly, Vt. [as of January 1879]."
