    December 7th 1806 then was marriage intended between Calvin Holton of Northfield & Patty Smith of Warwick & published p'r Ezekiel Webster Town Clerk.

  3. Allred, p. 255, guesses that "Polley (Patty)" is the daughter of Jonathan Smith and first wife Elizabeth Herbridge. This seems unlikely as all three of the marriage records appear to say Patty while the birth record pretty clearly says Polley and they are not names that are interchangeable. However, more research is needed.
