- ↑ No record of Huldah is found from the 1850 census when she is single, until the 1900 census when she is widow Huldah Bowker. Her death record identifies her as the widow of Caleb Bowker, almost certainly the one who died in Chelsea 20 Jan 1897, born in Nova Scotia 5 Jun 1833. Records indicate he became a naturalized US citizen 15 Aug 1887 (1887 voter registration, index of 1887 naturalizations). Whether they married and lived in Canada, or married after Caleb's immigration, or some other arrangement has not been determined.
